Where Have I Been To? 2014

1Hi, people!

Today’s 30 day challenge post is: What states and or countries have you been to? So I’ll be answering this.

Also, this is my first post in the “travel” tab in my blog!

I’ve unfortunately never been to Europe or Asia… It’s one of my dreams to visit England and France, but I would absolutely love to visit Italy, Germany… everywhere, really. And I don’t know how I’ve never been to Asia before, seeing that my parents are from Korea, but, well, besides that, I would love to see how’s Dubai, India…

This is looking like the same thing over and over, but I also want to go to South Africa, Australia and New Zealand one day…

If you haven’t noticed already, I haven’t been to the most part of the world… I live in Brazil, but, actually, from South America, I’ve also been only to Argentina and Uruguay. But first in Brazil, I’ve been to a lot of beaches in São Paulo (where I live), but also Rio de Janeiro, Salvador, Caravelas, Porto Seguro, Ouro Preto, Tiradentes, Goiânia, Poços de Caldas, Juazeiro, Petrolina, Teresina and Fernando de Noronha.

In Argentina, I’ve been to Las Leñas in winter three times, I guess, to ski, but also Buenos Aires in summer and, God, it’s hot there! Once, I went on a cruise around South America, but we didn’t stop at lots of places, but I visited Montevideo, Uruguay, on that trip across the seas… It was actually amazing.

From Central America, I’ve only been to Cancun, Mexico (before it was all about graduation partying, lol), but I was only one year old so, sorry, I can’t remember a thing about it. I’m hoping I can go again, as the pictures I have shows that it is beautiful.

Heading to North America, I’ve been to a lot of places.

In the US, I’ve been to New York (my favorite city ever), Los Angeles, Las Vegas, San Francisco, Salt Lake City, Lake Tahoe, Boston, Washington DC, Atlanta, Detroit, Miami, Orlando and… I think that’s it. I’ve skied at Lake Tahoe and Salt Lake City and actually ended up in Detroit as an accident once we lost our plane to somewhere else. I’ve been to New York three times. One time I stayed there, but once I got a train and visited Washington DC and another time I visited lots of universities across New York and Boston, it was awesome.

Now, for Canada, I’ve been to Whistler to ski and Vancouver. But I’ve done a month-long trip with my school where I visited, in one week, Montréal, Québec City, Ottawa, Tremblant and then stayed three weeks studying in Toronto (best trip ever?).

I’m probably forgetting some place, but I think that’s it.

I know it looks like a lot of traveling, and it might be, but travels are something my family splurges on every year… I think it’s just nice to have that one or two weeks when everyone is together and actually living and doing things together, as sometimes we can be in the same house, but never together together (wow, I don’t think I’ve ever used so much the same word).

I’m extremely thankful for being able to visit so many amazing places and I don’t take that for granted in any way.

I don’t know exactly why someone would, but if you want me to try and talk about any of these places, just let me know in the comments!

See you later,

Love,

Dani.
