Top 5: “Red” Songs

Captura de Tela 2014-12-22 às 20.19.10

Hi, everyone!

I was planning on doing my Top 5 songs out of “1989” since it came out and I’m completely obsessed with it, but I couldn’t find the audios to put in the post. So yeah, let’s wait and see when they’ll be easy to find.

To be honest, this is probably my least favorite album by Taylor, but… Well, I have my favorites haha, let’s go:

1. All Too Well [audio ]You tell me about your past thinking your future was me
And I know it’s long gone, and there was nothing else I could do
And I forget about you long enough to forget why I needed to

2. Starlight [audio ]He was trying to skip rocks on the ocean, saying to me,
“Don’t you see the starlight, starlight?
Don’t you dream impossible things?”

3. Red [audio ]Losing him was blue like I’d never known
Missing him was dark grey all alone
Forgetting him was like trying to know somebody you never met
But loving him was red

4. I Almost Do [audio ]That in my dreams you’re touching my face
And asking me if I’d want to try again with you
And I almost do

5. Everything Has Changed (feat. Ed Sheeran)

I love this and it may be because of Ed Sheeran, but I’m going to put the music video because it’s the cutest thing:

Okay, that’s it for today! I’ve already made a list regarding “Speak Now”, “1989” by Taylor and “Take Me Home” by One Direction. And I have plans for “x” by Ed Sheeran and, of course, “Four” by One Direction.

Bands I Want To Know More

Hello, everyone!

Weird title, I know, but I couldn’t think of anything better. I don’t know if you remember and I don’t even know if I actually said it, but I think that in my Top 5: Arctic Monkeys’ Songs I said that I was trying to “mold” my music taste and recently I’ve been listening to a bunch of bands that I haven’t listened to before. In this post, I’m going to share with you the ones I’m really liking, but am still trying to know more and better.

– All Time Low

Yes, I first listened to ATL because of 5SOS, but they’re not the reason I’m still listening and wanting to know more. I’m really liking their sound and I see a lot of them on Tumblr, so I kind of really like them as people too even though I don’t know them a lot, lol.

– Blink-182

I do have some of their songs on my iTunes and I really like them, but it’s only the best known ones. I want to know more of their songs and all that. I don’t know how many times I’ll say “know more” in this post, but really, I don’t know how else to say this.

– The Kooks

This one I know because of my friends and I’ve listened to some of their songs and really like them, but I’ve never got to know them a lot, and I don’t know why. So yeah, I want to.

– Phoenix

Now you’re going to think I’m really weird: I’ve listened to a lot of songs and love them, but I don’t own them on iTunes and, I don’t know, I never started actually listening to the band, like ?? I don’t even know.

– Arctic Monkeys

I do have ‘AM’ and I love the band and I know them relatively well, but I want to listen to their old discography more.

– The 1975 & Bastille

With these last two ones, the situation is kind of different. I do know their songs and really like them, but I want to know the band, like, the members, and “fangirl” over them (I don’t think you’ll get what I’m saying if you don’t fangirl over anyone, sorry).

If you’re a fan of any of those bands, please comment below your favorite songs, so I can check them out!

Top 5: “Taylor Swift” Songs

Hi, everyone!

I am a big, huge fan of Taylor Swift, so I’m not sure why I haven’t done a Top 5 of any of her albums yet. But that’s about to change: here are my favorite songs from her first and self-entitled album “Taylor Swift”. Her hair was curly (before it was the perfect curly hair – that was Fearless) and her songs were soooo country. I remember the first song I heard of her was Teardrops On My Guitar, which is amazing, but didn’t make to my Top 5.

Ps: I think this will be the hardest music Top 5 to choose my favorite lyric parts because her lyrics are e-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.

1. Picture to Burn

And so watch me strike a match
     On all my wasted time
     As far as I’m concerned
You’re just another picture to burn

2. Our Song

I was riding shotgun with my hair undone
In the front seat of his car
He’s got a one-hand feel on the steering wheel
     The other on my heart

3. Tim McGraw

But in a box beneath my bed
Is a letter that you never read
     From three summers back
It’s hard not to find it all a little bitter sweet
And lookin’ back on all of that, it’s nice to believe

4. Should’ve Said No

It’s strange to think the songs we used to sing
The smiles, the flowers, everything is gone
Yesterday I found out about you
Even now just looking at you feels wrong

5. Stay Beautiful

If you and I are a story
     That never gets told
If what you are is a daydream
     I’ll never get to hold,
     At least you’ll know…

Have you ever heard any of them? It’s a pity this is her least known album, because it’s so good.

Anyways, love,
